And so, I say goodbye to everyday lunch outs, and say hello to everyday packed lunch!
It’s that time of the year once again that I need to tighten my budget because of the fast-approaching yuletide season (my favourite time of the year!) and my plans for next year. And after months of not paying my life insurance plan (and the dreadful thought of my plan being forfeited) I’d reactivated my plan last night. My Agent has been the sweetest, She and her hubby has approved having my plan downgraded so that I could accommodate all my other expenses and hopefully get it back to my previous life insurance policy.
Well going back, I’d already list all my gifts for my family, friends and girlfriends for this year. I’m also getting prepped up for the upcoming MADZ Et Al music festival that is set to December 3, the Milo marathon and the company Christmas party that is set on…my birthday!
And since Christmas is just around less than 50 days away (and so is my birthday) my budget is already planned for the 3-day birthday celebration. Day 1 is sure to be one of the grandiose so far (and because of that, I would like to thank my humble office to celebrate my 18th, tee hee! And I lied about my age) day 2 will be with my family and girlfriends and day 3 will be with my officemates. Planning for my birthday is one of the most fun-filled moments for me for now I know that I’ll be celebrating my natal day with the ones closest to my heart. And I’m happy that it’ll be happening right before my very eyes.
And since the office is celebrating US holidays, we’re given 2 days off for the upcoming thanksgiving, thank God for long weekend yay!
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me until the end of the year. I had a lot of plans that needs to accomplish by next year and though I’m a bit frightened on what will happened on this coming days but I always pray to our Lord to back me up if there’s something wrong.
Don’t mind me dear readers, this is just me getting giddy, excited and nervous…till then!. ♥

November 11, 2011. It is one of the most auspicious dates this year. It is believed that it’s a lucky day for most Chinese (I saw lots of stores that opened as I went to Megamall yesterday) and it is believed that wishes will come true if you make a wish at 11:11am/pm at this day.

Believe it or not, I did made my wish yesterday. As I went through my daily work task, I keep on checking my desktop clock for the time, even making a screenshot and posted it on my facebook and twitter account. I did this because there’s nothing wrong to make a wish on this particular day at this particular time.
…and I really do wish that all my dreams, wishes for my friends and my childhood dream will soon became a reality, right before my very eyes.

2012 is coming near and yes I’m not getting any younger. I havent done anything amazing, and yes I’m not really a well-traveled. And as much as I want to pursue another course or plans of studying, it hasnt been implemented because of the monetary problems that I’ve been facing on a daily basis.
And yes, I want to make my plans work, at least for most of them, so here it is:
- Travel on a place that I havent seen (Palawan, Vigan, Bellaroca in Marinduque, Malapascua island in Cebu, etc)
- Try an extreme sport (I wanna try rappelling or bungee jumping, or anything as long as my budget permits me)
- Join art clubs (for I miss sketching and drawing a lot!)
- Travel ALONE (my sister told me that you’ll get to know yourself better when travelling alone, and it can be done anywhere in the country or outside the PH – and I hope I can do this despite the tight budget)
- Play an instrument, and it can be either piano, guitar or violin (I’m planning on enrolling myself in a music school soon)
- Creating a new personal/travel/food blog, and having my own domain (cross fingers, hope I could do this one properly!)
- Learn to swim (for I can’t swim to save my own life, boohoo! :’c)
- Taking a short course on anything IT (for I need to upgrade my learning stint, and in time will be used in a much-more well-paid job soon)
- Have more time with my friends (seriously yes!)
- Download more anime series in my playlist (coz Sailormoon along with other anime series runs in my blood!)
- Buy new running shoes (I’ve been using my sister’s running shoes for it’s the most comfy one for me)
- Buy a portable hard drive (for additional storage)
…and many many more! (to be continued)

My friends and I went out yesterday Guia’s post-birthday treat, and Ruby has noticed something on me, popping this question that suprised me:
Tala, in-love ka ba? parang may nabago sayo ah!
I’d just lol’d and told her that I’m just happy. Oh how I wish that I’m having a new relationship with someone else right now, but right now I’m happy for several reasons that I wanna share to anyone who religiously followed by blog:
I found love in the most beautiful places
After reaching the mile-high average at our work requirements, our marketing team has been rewarded an all-expense-paid overnight vacation in Cabuyao, Laguna. After seven months of supreme isolation at home (aka freelancing) I’m now having a much deserved vacation outside Manila.

The Hidden Valley resort is indeed magical in its own way. During our stay we were greeted with tall trees and beautifully trimmed gardens as we headed to the hot springs. The food (especially the breakfast buffet) was heaven, as we filled our hungry tummies with their yummy treats. It may be fattening but I never felt guilty as I filled myself with food, nom nom nom! <3

The most memorable of it all is the quest for finding the hidden falls, we were greeted with the 300-year old tree that reminds me of Grandmother willow of Pocahontas, the ethereal lake that has its magical charm on its own, and this inviting waterfall…

Cold waters, happy friends, lovely memories. How I wish we could go back soon…
Sharing the obsessive love for FroYo
I suddenly had this obsession for Froyo these past few months, I wanna try each and every frozen yogurt store that I came across. I had already tried some of them, including Tutti Fruitti, White Hat, Yoh Froz, Golden Spoon, Yes Yes Yoh and Californiaberry. (will make a blog for a review soon.)

How I wish these Frozen yogurts are more cheaper right now, if only these can be seen everywhere then it’ll be an everyday treat for me, yay me!
I found the book that I’ve been looking for since college
Once upon a time, this former tambay sa UE library read this inspiring book about love and fulfillment for the single, divorced, and widowed. And ever since I first read the Chicken soup for the single’s soul, It never fails to inspire me. Every short story written in this book has made me happy and giddy at the same time. I just love every single short story written in this amazing book.

I’ve been looking for this book for the longest time after I graduated from college, and I’m very thankful that I had this book in my hands (and I got it at the very low price, thank you booksale!) yay me!
PS: hope I could get another copy for my friends, this book is really worth sharing!
The hectic schedules with Coro makes me feel…happy!
It is weird that despite the almost late-night rehearsals with Coro, I felt happy and uplifted despite its problems. Maybe it is because of the music that we shared to the Lord during our sunday mass and other contemporary songs that we used to sing on other occasions (concerts, competitions, etc.) or may it be because of my lovely friends that I’m singing with.

But I really do think it’s both the commitment to serve the Lord through our talents and the love of singing in the stage with these wonderful group of people that makes me love the group.
I felt loved by my beloved set of friends
I still keep in touch with my former colleagues after leaving my former office, and I see to it that we’ll be having quality time together. My childhood friends, though they’re having a wonderful time with their spouses and/or their loved ones, we see to it that we’ll see each other despite our busy schedules. My fellow choristers on the other hand, we see to it that we’ll see each other during the rehearsals and on the mass.

And now I’m most happy that I’m now with my officemates who has helped me on my first few days on our humble office. They were, for the me the best officemates I’ve ever encountered. Aside from the flexible schedules and stress-free work, I can now say that they were the best marketing team that I’d ever encountered.
Victory is love
One of my officemates invited me to attend the Victory fellowship and it was one of the best fellowships that I’ve ever attended. Yes I’d already went to several bible studies, religious congregations and even other worship services. And I had to admit that I felt God’s embrace though the people and the worship itself, just like what I had felt whenever I attended the El Shaddai services.

It’s not that I question my own faith that makes me wanna join Victory, it’s just that I’d realized that I’ve been looking for a prayer partner for a longest time. The last time was that I’d had one was when I’m still in college where my christian friends and my former church organizations were having regular bible studies and retreats.
Attending the Victory fellowship has gave me inner peace.
Having the newest member of the family is made of Win! <3

Few months ago, we decided to welcome another member of our family on our humble home – Winwin. <3

The almost-4 month old half-spitz, half maltese is very different from our 12 year old askal baby Ashley (I’d still call her baby, sori naman!) for she has smaller features than her askal counterpart. Her unusually small head, tall ears and small but elongated body resembles that of a baby and I love the fact that she loves to eat and sleep. Though Ashley’s more malambing to us and a terror to some unknown visitors, Winwin is quite a charmer to the public – and a terror dog to us (lol!)
To end this post, I can say that I never realized that I had changed for the better, but I did. and that’s because of the things that God has gave me. And for that I’m the most grateful of all. <3
