day 30 – your favorite song at this time last year
It took me a while to search for a song that I used to listen to last year, and there’s really a lot to choose from. To think that I was caught in a dilemma of whether I should file my resignation earlier or to file them later (in which I did, but I really should have done that earlier), to take up another college degree or to lock up myself to the nunnery, or just go on where the wind takes me.
I remember listening to this song for the first time when I heard this on MTV, the repeated chorus was great and methinks there’s a moving story inside the song itself. The melody just caught me straight away.
And I remember singing the song with my former officemates during our breaks (just a normal jamming session with everyone, really miss them so badly…)

I will always be forever be in love with Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen-Sama, ’nuff said.
And I will always be a fan of Bishoujo Seishi Sera Moon!

Kill me for this will ya? in some ways, this song makes me guilty (and just remembered that I requested this song to be sung by my boyfriend during our videoke sessions LOL! 
)
I missed his wonderful baritone voice anyway!

day 27 – a song that you wish you could play
If my Piano skills were as great as Lang Lang, I would definitely play one of the classical songs from Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Chopin and many other musical geniuses from the past.
For this challenge, I really had a hard time choosing one song for I had so many songs in my mind right now, from classical scores to modern ones…until I chose this song from the movie Love Affair.
(Blogger’s note: I couldn’t find a decent Youtube video (instrumental) from this one, but the one posted is the closest one I can get, plus I used to sing this song during our wedding gig, the melody is simply exquisite that you just can’t help but to fall in love with it. <3)

day 26 – a song that you can play on an instrument
My family loves music, but ironically my two siblings can’t sing t save their lives. But the good thing for them is that they can play their own musical instruments so well – unlike me who’s still practicing my piano skills to save my life.
I admit that I’m not really good in playing the piano and I had my eyes set in having myself enrolled for piano lessons in one of the colleges here that my friends (co-chorister) has recommend to me.
Well anyway…
For this challenge, I used to play this song from the movie “Moulin Rogue” because it was one of those songs that we need to memorize for the upcoming concert at that time. I used to practice this song on the piano to get the right notes on the soprano part. “Come what may” is one of those songs that I think is very moving and exquisite.
